Born on July 2 in 1991 with the name of James David Roudigez Rubio James Rodriguez played soccer at the position of center attacking midfield(CAM) or Winger and his skill was noticed by a scout where he headed off the Envigado to start his career. Even at a young age James Rodriguez was going to different teams as after a year with his first pro club he was transferred to a club (named Banfield)where he got his nickname Banfeild a/an argentine club. His talent where noticed by some other scouts and James Rodriguez was transferred to his first “big european club” FC Porto a team that has had champion league experience. At Porto James Rodriguez thrived in the midfield and was picking up interest form other big soccer clubs. James Rodriguez won several trophies and individual awards at fc porto. In 2014 after spending three years with his club James Rodriguez moved to real madrid( one of the biggest clubs in the entire soccer world) for 63 million euros. At Madrid he won best La Liga midfielder(La Liga is the name of the league the spanish side real madrid plays in.) James Roudigez also broke the transfer record for most expensive colombian player signed by any soccer club. James Rodriguez impact on columbia and on the soccer pitch is important and shows how he is one of the greatest players for Columbia, his nation and country.
